I believe Xpath , is different language concept and does not matches with any existing.
Same as regular expressions, they are part of almost all programming language.

This is just a list, a pointer to know about. I don't think i can explain all these concepts in one blog post.

xpath? really? one of the TOP ELEVEN? Is this one of the "few fundamental things we have invented in programming languages"? I'm sorry, but this list jumps levels of abstraction and doesn't actually explain WHY these concepts are useful, which of course should be the prime value of the post.
