To make a borderless windows maximized without beeing fullscreen, you may also use:
myForm.Bounds = Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea;

And restore with
this.ParentForm.Bounds = _oldBounds;

Of course, you need a Rectangle named _oldBounds somewhere in your class:
private Rectangle _oldBounds;
